Inky Origami

Yesterday's camp had the kids doing chromatography (ink separation) and origami. The origami in the picture is V's name tag–in Japanese of course. They also "dissected" a diaper to study the layers inside that turn to gel when wet and hold the liquid inside. She enjoyed day two as much as day one.

Even though she was tired afterward, she was a trooper about going straight to softball practice. Thankfully it wasn't as rainy and FREEZING as practice was earlier this week. Thank you Lord for that momentary bit of sunshine that felt like a reward for honoring that commitment!
